These clinics will serve as both a tune up to get ready for the season as well as skill development.
The clinics consist of two one-hour sessions focusing on key skills such as throwing, catching, fielding and hitting with the goal of improving the player's skills and overall understanding of the game!
Session content will vary by age group and adapt to the group's collective experience. Each clinic will focus on the fundamentals of baseball appropriate to that age level.
The specific "Pitching and Catching" and "Fielding and Hitting" clinics (Bantam/Midget) will focus on skills specific to the positions with emphasis on technique.
There is a maximum of 8 participants at each clinic, with 2 instructors.
Cost is $50 for both sessions (note you are registering for both sessions). The second Sunday session will be a continuation of the skills taught at the first Sunday session.
Each participant should bring their own baseball glove and batting helmet and either running shoes or cleats. Participants may bring their own bats and catcher's equipment if they wish, but bats and catcher's equipment will be provided. Participants must bring their own PPE facemasks, water bottles and sunscreen.
The skills and drills clinics for each age group will be offered on Sunday June 20th and Sunday June 27th at Millcroft Park (4250 Millcroft Park Dr., Burlington, ON L7M 4J6).
