Jun 27, 2015, 8:14 am

The Tier 1 RookieBall Bulls were the AAA Champions of the West Mountain Rookie Classic 2015 Tournament in Hamilton. The Tournament was held over Father’s Day weekend, and our RookieBall Bulls went an amazing 6-0. After and encouraging win on Friday evening against West London, we faced a season rival Kitchener Panther team on Saturday morning. The boys pulled out a win and continued to go undefeated on Saturday.

On Championship Sunday, we faced the Niagara Falls Falcons in our Semi-Final game. The boys took an early lead and hung on to win the game in seven innings. Some really strong defence helped secure our spot in the championship game.

Our final game was a hard fought victory against a really tough COBA rival, The Mississauga North Tigers Team #1. Superb defence and timely offence help push the Bulls to a 7-5 victory. Its was an amazing game and a fun filled exciting weekend. Congratulations to the team, and for many of the players, a special congratulations on your first tournament championship.
