Introducing Grasshopper Baseball
Dec 23, 2013, 4:51 pm

Grasshopper is the newest addition to our "introduction to baseball" levels. Grasshopper is played by 7 year olds (kids born in 2007) with a Pitching Machine and Safety Ball. The ball is pitched between 30-35MPH with the same rules as Rookie Ball (40MPH), allowing for the Rookie Ball experience at a slightly slower speed.

Grasshopper has been successfully introduced in several other leagues across COBA - and is new to BOMBA in 2014.
