My apologies to the entire Guelph team for the mix up with the schedule – sorry for the confusion and the inconvenience!

Thank you to all of the teams that participated in our tournament!
Thank you to all of the umpires – you did a great job!  Burlington is lucky to have Dave Margetts and crew.........our umpires are excellent.

London Badgers 2011 AAA Peewee Tournament Champions
Jul 16, 2011, 5:35 pm

BOMBA Bulls Major PeeWee AAA

London Badgers Tournament Champions

The Major Peewee AAA Burlington Bulls went undefeated over the weekend (June 10-12th) to win the London Badgers 2011 AAA Peewee Tournament. The Bulls opened the weekend knocking off the Guelph Royals 6-2, followed by a last inning win over Waterloo and a tie against Thornhill.

The # 1 seeded Bulls faced the host London Badgers in the semi-final and battled hard for a 6-5 win that sent them to the championship game in their first tourney of the year. After falling behind 3-1 against Guelph early in the final, the Bulls battled back with timely hitting, great defense, and solid pitching to eventually win it 7-4.

Overall it was a great team effort over the course of the weekend and worth it for the parents and coaches not to have any fingernails left. Big thanks to the parents, players, and the London Badgers Organization for a great tournament weekend.
