House League Registration - Terms and Conditions
NO PAY - NO PLAY
A registration is not considered final and accepted until the registration fee is paid in full. (See also NSF Cheques and Refund Requests)
LEVELS
There are three levels of fees. Please read carefully to understand your choices.
The Early Bird fee level expires February 1st, 2020
The Full fee level expires March 7th, 2020
The Late fee level expires April 4th, 2020
PLAYER REQUESTS
Historically BOMBA has tried to meet the individual requests of players to be on the same team as their friends or to have a specific coach. Our registrants, or the parents of our registrants, have expressed that they place a much greater value on team/division balance and consequently, BOMBA WILL NOT attempt to meet individual requests above the entry baseball levels (Junior T-Ball, Senior T-Ball and Junior Coach Pitch).
All entry level player requests must be made in writing to the appropriate division convenor. In the case of friend requests, both player’s parent(s)/guardian(s), must submit a request. Each request will be reviewed on its own merits. While every attempt will be made to accommodate at these levels, BOMBA does not make any guarantees.

REFUND POLICY
In light of COVID-19, BOMBA is continuing to monitor events as we near the start of our 2020 baseball season. BOMBA will take its lead from Baseball Ontario with respect to any season adjustments or the possibility of cancellation of the season. The processes for dealing with registration fees and any potential refund amounts will be announced once a final decision relating to the season has been determined. We thank you for your patience while we work through this unprecedented situation.
If for any reason you choose to withdraw your child from registration prior to the season commencement there will be a $50 processing fee subtracted from your refund. Any refund requested after season commencement will have a $50 processing fee deducted and 50% of the registration fee will be withheld to cover the costs incurred for uniforms, equipment, diamonds, umpires etc. Season commencement is considered once players have been assigned to a team.
NSF CHEQUES
BOMBA will charge a $50 administration fee for NSF cheques. If a cheque is rejected at any time, the child is not considered registered until payment is received by BOMBA.
NUMBER OF GAMES
Due to many factors BOMBA cannot guarantee the number of games your child will play in a season and in the playoffs. Factors such as weather, diamond availability, number of registrants, umpire availability, holidays, or any other unforeseen issues such as power failure cutting off night lighting will all impact the number of games we can achieve. BOMBA will guarantee a minimum of 15 season games and a minimum of 2 playoff games (at levels participating in playoffs) for every team.
GAME NIGHTS
At the levels of Jr. and Sr. T-Ball, Jr. Coach Pitch, Sr. Coach Pitch, Rookie Ball, Mosquito and Peewee all teams will be scheduled to play two nights a week on the same nights weekly:
At the levels of Bantam, and Midget, the goal is to also play two nights a week, but the nights played will be any two nights, Monday through Thursday night and possibly Friday nights, and will most likely change every week. At these levels the teams play an interlocking schedule with numerous other communities and we are at the mercy of their diamond availability times as well as our own.
SEASON START AND FINISH DATES
It is BOMBA’s goal to start our season play in the second or third week of May and finish before the end of July. The Playoffs (at levels applicable) will start in the first week of August and will finish on Championship Day which is tentatively scheduled on the second Saturday of August.
PARENTS / GUARDIANS RESPONSIBILITIES
Parents/Guardians are responsible to ensure that a player is in good health and has sufficient medical coverage, over and above the minimal insurance provided to the Association.
Parents/Guardians are responsible to purchase and ensure that the player wears the appropriate protective gear (i.e. jock or jill), when participating in all athletic events.
FOOTWEAR
At all levels of House League play athletic running shoes are acceptable. If the registrant chooses to wear baseball shoes metal cleats are not allowed until the level of Bantam.
BASEBALL GLOVES
Baseball gloves for all players are the responsibility of the Parent / Guardian to supply. Catcher’s Equipment will be supplied by BOMBA, one set per team.
