Umpire Uniform
The following uniform is expected for Umpires in Burlington. A recommended progression is listed below for the ‘minimum’ standards in terms of wearing ‘official’ umpire clothing. This is intended to spread out costs for umpiring over a period of years. The strict adherence increases as the umpire progresses through the levels. Please contact the Umpire In Chief for specific questions.

Notes:
* Black is the standard shirt colour for umpires and all umpires must have the same colour shirt.
* Other colours are permitted if both umpires are dressed the same. (Navy Blue has been discontinued as an approved colour in Burlington)
* Umpires should ideally have 2 size shirts. One which fits over top of the chest protector and one which fits without a chest protector on.
Expectations for Umpires By Level:
Level 1 - Proper Hat to fit under your mask. (Hats can not be worn backwards). Shirts compliant with Level 2 are desireable if possible.

Bomba is pleased to be offering a new equipment program for our umpires this year. As a result, the traditional parent meeting is being re-shaped. More information will be provided by late February on a date and time in April for parents and umpires to attend an information session which will include the sizing and hand out of the umpire equipment.
The new Umpire and parent’s meeting was held on Monday May 6. The presentation is available for download below. For questions, please reach out to umpireinchief@baseballburlington.com
