Playoff Tie Breaker Rules

Tie Breaker Rules for playoff position:

As weather and diamond condition can be unpredictable it is likely that not every team will end up playing the same number of regular season games. Final standings shall be determined by a win percentage calculation as follows:

Win % = [(Wx2)+T)/(2*G)]*100

where W= wins, L = Losses T=Ties, G = total games played (W+L+T)

Should 2 or more teams be tied after win percentage is calculated tie break rules are listed in order below:

1. Head-to-head record during regular season (more wins over the other is higher seed)

2. Runs For (most runs scored is higher seed)

3. Runs Against (Least runs allowed is higher seed)

4. Coin Toss

Every attempt will be made to play all 3 Round Robin playoff games. These calculations and rules apply to determination of playoff standings as well, when necessary. When breaking ties in playoffs only the playoff results will apply.
